- Anticipate their needs. If they chug down that first glass of Bud Light after softball practice, they’ll likely be better off ordering a pitcher. If they’re red as a lobster, be ready to hand them the aloe vera gel. If they have a toothache, hold off on the offer of ice water.
- Be happy yourself, or learn how to project happiness even if your life is an abject tragedy.
